For years, Instagram stood alone as a the anti-business social media. Don't get me wrong; it's necessary to have a company account. It is considered to be the most important social media by more members of the Founder Generation than anyother platform. Top brands have 58 times the follow rate on Instagram than Facebook and 120 times more than Twitter. Its visual format makes it easy to create an engaging and easily-shared storyline. If you DON'T have a company Insta account, you're missing out on a huge opportunity to grow your company. But incorporating it into your marketing strategy has not been easy.
Originally conceived as a streamlined, easy-to-use photo posting app, Instagram did away with extra features. As it has evolved over time, the company has maintained it's stance as a creative arena, nixing the ads that inundated Facebook. But when the social media giant purchased the photo sharing app in 2012, things began to change.
Last year, Facebook launched Power Editor with Instagram Ad capabilities. After years of having to skirt Insta's limitations with other apps, the process has become remarkably streamlined. My one complaint remained, however, that there is nothing that made it easy to manage multiple accounts.

It's easy to toggle between accounts from your feed, receive push notifications for both, and share to other social accounts, like Facebook. Even Insta-related outside apps have gotten on-board and ask which account you wish to manage. I can easily repost an image shared on my personal account to Campaign Creator's. The only issue I experience now is the danger of accidentally posting to the wrong place.
However, the rollout has experienced some bugs. Android users have reported clickable notifications that lead nowhere. Is that really a big deal, though? Just turn off the notifications. It's a small price to pay for the convenience of NOT having to log in and out
